Every day for the next eight days, there's at least a 50% chance of rain in Denver, and today it rained for most of the day. It looks like something has changed with the weather because I don't remember it being so wet before. But like I said yesterday its almost against the law not to want rain in the West. But I have my solar panels to think about since I'm not plugged in. And all these clouds make being off grid somewhat troublesome, especially since the Lance doesn't produce as much solar electricity as the Arctic Fox.

I'm still not doing anything worth taking pictures of, which is why you see so many pictures of flowers in the yard and the grandkids. I haven't been going anywhere or doing anything except a few odd jobs around the camper's or in my daughter's house.

I'm having a debate with myself as to whether or not I should take the camper off the truck. Right now, the Lance is on the truck, which means I don't want to pack up the camper to drive hither and thither for no valid reason. The last time I did, I got lost in thither and thought I would never find my way back home.

I could take the camper off the truck, but I'm sure if I did, I would think of all kinds of places I would want to go camping for a day or two, and taking the camper off and on is not the easiest job in the world. I might take the camper off to get the truck emissions tested, but I'm not even sure about that because last year, I left it on when it was tested, and it worked out okay. I would also like to go out to my property near 11-mile reservoir and spend a few nights, but it's been so rainy that doesn't seem like a great idea.

So what all that means is I haven't been going anywhere or doing anything, so my picture-taking opportunities are limited. And since I'm in a neighborhood with houses all around, even sunsets and sunrises don't look very good with all the buildings and power poles in the way. But this is my first summer living in the Lance, and there were bound to be some hurdles to overcome. But overcome them I will,  just like I overcome all the challenges in my life, and walk away stronger.
