Too bad you can't just head off the back way toward Cripple Creek or somewhere and park by the side of the road as was possible many many years go. Well, you are from around there and I'll bet there's SOME PLACE you can go. Maybe your own property?

Yeah Judith, my property is one of the places I need to go one of these days, but I'm trying to wait till my youngest son can meet me out there and we can spend some time together, but he's working pretty hard this time of year so I have to wait for him to have some free time.

You reminded me how many dates my Dave and I had where we played putt putt golf. I doubt we'd be anywhere as good at it now.

I recall a few Putt Putt dates myself. But I don't think it was because I loved golf, because I didn't. And I don't think it was because I was good at it, because I wasn't. I think it had more to do with the cheapest thing I could do on a date, due to a severe lack of money.

I suspect it is because it was all we could afford to do that we got good at it. :)

Yeah, Judith I remember when putt putt used to be a big deal and almost everyone would play. And since it was an inexpensive thing to do families would go play on a Saturday night just to entertain the kids. But now it's mostly uncool and the only putt putt courses left, are for the most part, in tourist areas. And I suspect drive-in theaters suffered a similar fate when most folks had enough money to go to a regular theater and not have to hide their kids in the trunk.
