Clicking the pics might make them bigger than they are now. Or it might make them disappear completely for all I know.

I do love cottonwoods in the fall alongside mountain rivers. Thanks.

You're very welcome. The Cottonwoods were all I could find that were still yellow. By then all the Aspen leaves had fallen off.

Nowadays I have to find that variety in books. Which means I need to change genres every now and then because all books in one genre start to sound the same. I miss traveling physically but not the hassles of dumping my tanks.

I used to be a vociferous reader myself. But that was back when I knew what vociferous meant. But for some reason reading doesn't interest me like it used to. And I don't know why. I used to be able to escape in a book and be completely oblivious to anything going on around me, and I enjoyed that escape. I guess its my one track mind that's off in another direction now.

I can still escape so completely into a book that, if I'm reading about a blizzard while it's actually the middle of summer, I will go put on a sweater.

I know exactly what you mean. I used to get lost in books just like that. And maybe I still can but I just don't seem to have the interest in doing so. I think the Internet has rearranged my brain so I don't have the patience to deal with anything more than five minutes long. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
