The Last couple of days have been really hot, hot enough to start thinking about heading north which I'll be doing soon. I re-upped today for 10 more days and after that I'll start the slow crawl North.
I haven't been accomplishing much of anything the last couple of days partly because of the heat and mostly because of the laziness. I haven't done anything to try and fix my inoperable fantastic vent fan even though that thing would be very useful when it's 95° outside. And I haven't vacuumed like I've been planning on doing for a while, I guess when the sand, the gravel, and the dust bunnies, block the door I'll have to get out the vacuum cleaner or get out the shovel, one or the other.
I remember when I first started full timing I would keep up with how many days I went without an electric hookup. And I guess I did that because I thought there was a limit to how many days I could go without plugging the Arctic Fox into shore power. And knowing how many days that was would be useful information. But I hardly ever think about it anymore because I've come to the realization that I never run out of electricity and there is no time limit on how long I can go without an AC plugin. In other words I have truly become electrically independent.
